Norah Books is the result of a long, personal journey.
I was born in Hungary and later moved to Switzerland. In this new phase of my life, an old dream slowly began to take shape: to create books that help both children and adults slow down, develop focus, and consciously enjoy screen-free time.
ISince completing my training as a vision trainer, I work with children. During this work, I increasingly noticed how concentration difficulties, inner restlessness and attention challenges affect the everyday lives of many families. Parents often asked how they could support their child’s learning, motivation and self-confidence – without pressure or overload.
It has always been important to me to find playful, experience-based and practical approaches that fit naturally into everyday life. During vision training sessions, short stories, creative tasks and playful exercises emerged, helping children learn and grow with enjoyment. Alongside this, I studied Brain Gym kinesiology and ADHD coaching in order to better understand and support children and their families.
At some point, a thought took shape:
What if there were books that support attention, focus and perseverance – playfully, gently and without screens?
The first step in this direction was a Sudoku book. Sudoku is widely known for strengthening concentration, patience and logical thinking. However, from the very first draft, I felt that it could offer more. I therefore enriched the puzzles with a story and colouring illustrations, so that learning would not be just an exercise, but an experience.
This is how my first book was created:
The World of the Sudoku Masters, featuring the adventures of Luma, the little fox.
This book became the foundation of Norah Books. Today, my publications stand for playful concentration support, creative activities and mindful breaks – for children and adults alike. They invite readers to switch off screens and reconnect with thinking, feeling and their own natural rhythm.
In the future, I would like to continue creating books and digital content that gently support children and adults in everyday life. Topics such as attention, inner calm and holistic well-being will gradually play a greater role – always approached responsibly, in a practical way and without therapeutic claims.
For me, Norah Books is not a traditional publishing house.
It is a space where creativity, playful learning and conscious development come together – for children, families and everyone who believes that meaningful change begins with small steps.
Thank you for being here.
I hope my books bring you calm, value and inspiring moments.
